Portable Video Conference Facilities
Media Services have the ability to support your meeting should the numbers attending exceed those specified for our fixed meeting spaces.
We have a number of solutions for meetings outside of our dedicated spaces including:
- For up to 60 attendees in Manchester using the 'push to talk' delegate microphones
- Our ‘always on’ microphone system for meetings of up to 40 people.
- For video conferences in lecture theatres or teaching spaces we can provide you with a lapel mic for the speaker and handheld mic for audience questions.
- If you wish to do a video conference from your own PC or small office you can loan a small webcam and speakerphone system from the Media Services Office located on the 2nd floor of HBS. To loan these items please email mediaservices@manchester.ac.uk
Please note: when booking any equipment for larger meetings please contact us at least 1 week in advance in order for us to perform a site visit along with arranging for the availability of hardware and technicians.
